The Montana Legislature has reached the midway milestone in its 90-day, biennial session.
As of March 2, 2019 over 1000 bills have been introduced and pipelined for committee hearings and floor votes. There have been nearly 3300 total bill requests.
March 2 was the last day to transmit general bills to the other chamber. Appropriation, revenue, and other special legislation can still be introduced and transmitted.
Legislators will be on break from March 3 through March 6. Another legislative break takes place from April 19 to April 22.
May 1 is Legislative Day 90.
